Social and leisure

For information about one of our social or leisure services click on its name in the list on the left.

Solihull Mind provides a variety of services to those who live in Solihull borough (including Chelmsley Wood, Castle Bromwich, Kingshurst, Smithswood etc, Knowle/Dorridge, Balsall Common, and Meriden) and are aged between 17 and 65.

All our services are provided free of charge and are self referral - i.e. you don't need a letter from a GP, social worker etc. (in fact we can't accept referrals from other agencies), although you can ask someone else to make the first contact with us if that is easier for you. To use the drop-in, or take part in art/drama or sports, you don't need an appointment - just turn up. To use the befriending scheme you will need to fill in a short form and have a chat with the scheme co-ordinator.

Solihull Mind's services are provided according to our policies on equal opportunities and confidentiality. All information is confidential to Solihull Mind and no written records are kept. We will only consider breaching confidentiality when there is serious and immediate risk of harm to a third party. Details of our policies are available on request
